5-methyl-5-[({4′-[(trifluoromethyl)oxy]-1,1′-biphenyl-4-yl}thio)methyl]imidazolidine-2,4-dione (48 mg, 0.112 mmol) was stirred at room temperature with oxone (50 mg), sodium bicarbonate (50 mg), water (5 ml) and Methanol (10 ml) for 18 hours. The solid was filtered off and crystallized from ethanol to give 20 mg of the title compound.
