Procedure
To a solution of tert-butyl 4-((6-(2-chlorophenyl)-7-(4-chlorophenyl)-[1,2,4]triazolo[4,3-b]pyridazin-3-yl)methyl)piperidine-1-carboxylate (Example 19) (0.6 g, 1.11 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (15 mL) was added 2 M HCl in diethyl ether (5 mL. The resulting mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 h, then concentrated under reduced pressure. The obtained residue was evaporated with CH2Cl2 three times, dried in high vacuum overnight to afford 450 mg (85%) of the title compound as an off-white powder. HPLC/MS (method A): retention time=3.01 min, (M+H)+=438.2.
