Tert-butyl 2-(2-hydroxy-1,1-dimethyl-4-oxo-7-phenethyl-1,4-dihydronaphthalene-3-carboxamido)acetate (130 mg, 289 μmol) was dissolved and stirred in TFA (2 mL) at ambient temperature for 30 minutes.
