189 mg of potassium tert-butylate and 532 mg of methyltriphenylphosphonium bromide are heated in 8 ml of toluene for 3 hours at 80° C. The reaction mixture is cooled to 50° C. and a solution of 500 mg of 1-[2,6-dichloro-4-(3,3-dichloro-allyloxy)-phenoxy]-3-(4-tri-fluoromethyl-phenoxy)-propan-2-one in 5 ml of toluene is added in the course of 5 minutes. After 2 hours at 80° C., the reaction mixture is filtered, diluted with ethyl acetate and washed with water. After concentration of the organic phase and purification over silica gel, the title compound is obtained.
