Reaction Steps
A RT solution of 2-[phenyl-(1H-pyrrolo[3,2-b]pyridin-3-yl-methyl)-malonic acid tert-butyl ester methyl ester (320 mg) in a mixture TFA/DCM (2/1, 9 mL) was stirred for 1.5 h, and concentrated to give 2-[Phenyl-(1H-pyrrolo[3,2-b]pyridin-3-yl-methyl)-malonic acid mono-methyl ester as a trifluoroacetate salt.
