Reaction Steps
A solution of 1 g of compound 67 and 1 g of p-toluenesulfonic acid in 100 ml of 1-propanol was refluxed for 18 h. After evaporating the solvent, the title compound was crystallized from methanol. M.p. 100°-101° C.
