PROCEDURE

实验过程

A mixture of 26.0 g (0.12 mol) of 2-bromoselenophene, 20.5 g (0.13 mol) of 4-propylphenylboronic acid, 7.0 g (6.1 mmol) of tetrakis-(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) and 140 ml of 2 N sodium carbonate soln. in 300 ml of toluene/ethanol (1:1) is heated under reflux for 20 h. A further 7.0 g (6.06 mmol) of tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) are added, and the mixture is refluxed again for 3 h. After cooling, water is added, and the organic phase is separated off. The aqueous phase is extracted with toluene, and the combined organic phases are washed with water and sat. sodium chloride soln. The solution is dried using sodium sulfate and concentrated to dryness. The residue is purified by column chromatography (SiO2, n-heptane). 2-(4-Propylphenyl)selenophene is obtained as a yellow liquid.
