(R)-1-(3-fluoro-5-(1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethoxy)phenyl)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-2-phenylethanamine (48 mg, 0.11 mmol) was stirred in THF (0.5 mL) and H2O (0.05 mL) at room temperature. K2CO3 (100 mg, 0.72 mmol, 6.6 eq) was added followed by the addition of isopropenyl chloroformate (0.030 mL, 0.275 mmol, 2.5 eq). The reaction mixture was stirred at room temperature overnight. The mixture was filtered, and the filtrate concentrated to dryness to give crude (R)-prop-1-en-2-yl 1-(3-fluoro-5-(1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethoxy)phenyl)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)-2-phenylethylcarbamate as colorless film (60 mg, yield: quantative). LCMS: 4.18 min 409.27 (M-COOisopropenyl-NH3+H) (4 min gradient, MeOH/H2O 0.1% TFA).
