N-{[6-chloro-2-oxo-4-(trifluoromethyl)-1,4-dihydro-2H-3,1-benzoxazin-4-yl]methyl}-4-fluorobenzamide was subjected to optical resolution by HPLC (Chiralpack AD-H, n-hexane:2-propanol=4:1), and a fraction eluted at a later time was concentrated, whereby the objective compound was obtained.
