Procedure
A solution of 1.7 g of 2,3-difluoro-1,4-benzoquinone (G. Haufe, Perkin Transactions 1 (2002), (23), 2719-2728), 2.2 mL of 1,3 cyclohexadiene in 25 mL of Et2O was heated in a closed vessel at 50° C. for 2 h. After cooling to rt the mixture was concentrated in vacuo to obtain 1.4 g of the desired compound as mixture of stereoisomers as yellow solid.
