Reaction Steps
4-Nitrosotetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl 3,3,3-trifluoropropanoate was prepared from tetrahydro-pyran-4-one oxime, lead tetraacetate and 3,3,3-trifluoropropionic acid using conditions of General Method 3. 1H NMR (360 MHz, chloroform-d) δ 3.94-4.17 (2H, m), 3.54-3.79 (2H, m), 3.37 (2H, q), 2.23-2.43 (2H, m), 1.65-1.96 (2H, m).
