Reaction Steps
A solution of acetic acid 6-acetoxy-2-(4-chloro-phenyl)-3-oxo-2,3-dihydro-1H-isoindol-5-yl ester (0.5 g) in dry N,N-dimethylformamide (15 ml) was treated with morpholine (0.13 ml) at 0-5° C. and stirred then for an hour at room temperature. The reaction was poured into ice water and filtered.
