Reaction Steps
A mixture containing 0.91 g (0.006 mol) of 2',4'-dihydroxyacetophenone and 0.95 g (0.005 mol) of 6-(4-aminophenyl)-4,5-dihydropyridazin-3(2H)one was heated for 4 h at 140° C. in a stream of nitrogen gas. The product was triturated with boiling ethanol and filtered. Yield 0.88 g (54%), m.p. 350° C. (decomp).
