Procedure

4.25 mmol (1.5 g) of the compound obtained in Example 1 are dissolved in 50 cm3 of 0.1N sodium hydroxide. The solution is left for 24 hours at room temperature, neutralized by adding 1N hydrochloric acid and then evaporated to dryness. The residue is taken up with 50 cm3 of isopropanol, filtered and evaporated, then taken up in 40 cm3 of water. The expected product is obtained after lyophilization.

Workup

  1. customevaporated to dryness
  2. filtrationfiltered
  3. customevaporated
