PROCEDURE

实验过程

To a 25 mL round-bottom flask was added 7-chloro-1-(2-chloro-phenyl)-3-methyl-1H-quinolin-4-one (324 mg, 1.07 mmol), N-bromosuccinimide (219 mg, 1.23 mmol), AIBN (33.0 mg, 201 μmol) and carbon tetrachloride (9 mL). The mixture was heated at reflux for 2 hr. The reaction mixture was cooled to room temperature and then placed in an ice bath. The solvent was decanted and the residue was then rinsed with a very small amount of dichloromethane. The supernatant was concentrated and the crude 3-bromomethyl-7-chloro-1-(2-chloro-phenyl)-1H-quinolin-4-one was used in the next step without further purification.
