Procedure
To a solution of the compound 73 (952 mg) in n-butanol (4.40 mL) was added 2N hydrochloric acid (2.20 mL) at room temperature and the solution was stirred at room temperature for 3 Hours. The reaction solution was concentrated and azeotroped with toluene. Ethyl acetate and an aqueous saturated sodium carbonate solution were added thereto and the solution was separated. The organic layer was washed with brine, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate and concentrated to give the title compound (710 mg) having the following physical data.
