Reaction Steps
50 mg of 2-methyl-2-{[1-(4-phenyl-but-1-ynyl)-naphthalene-2-carbonyl]-amino}-propionic acid methyl ester were dissolved in 5 ml methanol, and after addition of 10 mg of Pd/C (10%) hydrogenated for 6 h. The reaction was then filtrated and the filtrate was concentrated to yield 48 mg of 2-methyl-2-{[1-(4-phenyl-butyl)-naphthalene-2-carbonyl]-amino}-propionic acid methyl ester.
