To a solution of tert-butyl 4-((3,5-dichloro-N-(4-fluorobenzyl)-2-hydroxyphenylsulfonamido)methyl)benzylcarbamate (569 mg, 1.00 mmol) in methylene chloride (9 mL) was added TFA (3 mL). The reaction mixture was stirred at rt for 2 h, and then concentrated. The residue was dissolved in with methylene chloride (100 mL) and washed with saturated aq sodium bicarbonate solution, brine, dried over MgSO4, and concentrated to give the title compound (446 mg, 95%) as a tan solid. MS (ESI): m/z 468.9 (M+H)+.
