Add 4 M HCl in 1,4-dioxane (1.00 mL, 4.00 mmol) to a solution of (S)-tert-butyl 2-((1-(6-(4-fluorophenyl)-4,5-dimethylpyridazin-3-yl)piperidin-4-yl)(methyl)carbamoyl)piperidine-1-carboxylate (80 mg, 0.152 mmol) in CH2Cl2 (2 mL). Stir the resulting mixture for 4 h at ambient temperature. Concentrate under reduced pressure and dry the residue in a vacuum oven at 45° C. to provide the title compound as pale yellow foam (79 mg, quantitative). ES/MS m/z 426.2 (M+1).
