A solution of 3-(4,4,5,5-Tetramethyl-[1,3,2]dioxaborolan-2-yl)-phenylamine (0.5 g, 2.28 mmol) in 2-Bromo-1-methyl-1H-imidazole (0.367 g, 2.28 mmol) was heated in a CEM discover microwave synthesizer (50 W) at 125° C. until the reaction was complete.
