Procedure
To a solution of 1,4-dinitroimidazole (207 mg, 1.31 mmol) and sodium hydrogencarbonate (242 mg, 2.88 mmol) in 4 mL of water and 0.16 mL of acetone was added drop wise a solution of the compound of Example 3 (278 mg, 1.31 mmol) in acetone. The reaction mixture was refluxed for 2 h, poured into water and extracted with EtOAc. The crude residue was purified by automated flash liquid chromatography (Horizon™-Biotage) eluting with EtOAc-MeOH gradient from 1:0 to 92:8; affording the title compound not enough pure. So, it was purified again by preparative RP LC-MS chromatography, using MS-C18 XTerra column 30×50 mm eluting with ammonium bicarbonate 20 mM pH 8 buffer-acetonitrile gradient affording 4 mg of the title compound.
