Procedure
3.3 g (0.01 mol) of N-(2-(2,5-dimethyl-1-pyrrolyl)ethyl)-N'-(4-ethoxycarbonylphenyl)urea, prepared as in Example 7, are stirred with 12 ml of methanol and 10 ml of 1 N sodium hydroxide solution at room temperature for 1 h and then acidified with dilute hydrochloric acid. The precipitated product is filtered off with suction and dried. Yield: 1.5 g (50% of theory), Melting point: 248°-250° C. Elemental analysis: C16H19N3O3 (301.35) calculated: C 63.8 H 6.4 N 13.9 O 15.9 found: C 63.4 H 6.2 N 13.9 O 16.3
