Reaction Steps
To a suspension of 0.4 g of 3-ethoxycarbonyl-9-mercapto-4H-pyrido[1,2-a]pyrimidin-4-one II-1 in 10 ml of dry CH2Cl2 is added 0.35 g of 4-methylphenyl isocyanate III-1, and the resultant mixture is stirred at room temperature for 4 hours. At this time the reaction mixture is crystallized again after it is once dissolved.
