Procedure

N.M.R. δppm (DMSO-d6): 0.89 (3H, t, J=7 Hz), 1.63 (2H, sextet, J=7 Hz), 4.05 (2H, t, J=7 Hz), 6.83 (1H, s), 6.9-8.8 (3H, broad). (5) 2-(2-Aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-n-propoxyiminoacetic acid (syn isomer, 21.8 g.), acetic anhydride (38.8 g.) and formic acid (17.5 g.) were treated in a similar manner to that of Example F-(5), and then the obtained oil was triturated with diisopropyl ether to give 2-(2-formamidothiazol-4-yl)-2-n-propoxyiminoacetic acid (syn isomer, 19.2 g.), mp. 164° C. (dec.).

Workup

  1. customthe obtained oil was triturated with diisopropyl ether
