The title compound is prepared in analogy to 2-ethyl-N-hydroxy-6-methyl-isonicotinamidine starting from 2-isopropyl-6-methyl-isonicotinic acid ethyl ester; LC-MS: tR=0.42 min, [M+1]+=194.08; 1H NMR (D6-DMSO): δ 1.22 (d, J=7.0 Hz, 6H), 2.44 (s, 3H), 2.91-3.02 (hept, J=7.0 Hz, 1H), 5.91 (s, 2H), 7.32 (s, 2H), 9.88 (s, 1H).
