Reaction Steps
Following the general procedure for Example 12 (step 2), boron tribromide (1.0 M solution in dichloromethane, 9.66 mL, 9.66 mmol) was added to the product from step 1 (0.76 g, 3.22 mmol) in dichloromethane (15 mL) to afford the title compound (0.37 g, 52%) as a light-green solid.
