Procedure

3-(4-bromophenyl)-1-(pyridin-2-yl)-1H-pyrazol-5-ol (3 mmol, 1 equivalent) was dissolved in 10 mL of CHCl3 and 1.2 equivalents of triethylamine were added thereto at 0° C. Then, 1 equivalent of acetyl chloride was added thereto, followed by refluxing for 10 minutes. After the reaction was completed, H2O (10 mL) was added to the solution which was then extracted with CHCl3. The organic layer was dried over anhydrous MgSO4, filtered, concentrated, and then separated by column chromatography (n-hexane:EA=5:1 (v/v)) to afford the title compound.
