Reaction Steps
1-(4-Fluoro-2-hydroxy-phenyl)-ethanone (4.5 g, 29.22 mmol) was treated with N-methylpiperazine (5 mL) at 130° C. for 3 h to give 1-[2-hydroxy-4-(4-methyl-piperazin-1-yl)-phenyl]-ethanone in quantitative yield.
