Procedure

The hydrochloride can be obtained by adding a hydrochloric acid solution (5.84N in methanol) to a methanolic solution of 6-phenyl-5-(4-{[4-(5-pyridin-2-yl-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)piperidin-1-yl]methyl}phenyl)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine, stirring at room temperature for at least 1 hour and removing the solvent from the solid product.
