Procedure

To 8.08 g 2-Cyclopropyl-6-phenyl-5-(4-{[4-(5-pyridin-2-yl-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl)piperidin-1-yl]methyl}phenyl)[1,2,4]triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (prepared as described under example 4) in 77 ml methanol are added 2.50 ml hydrochloride solution (5.84N in methanol). The mixture is stirred at room temperature for 1 h. The solvent is removed to yield the desired product.
