The hydrochloride can be obtained by adding to a solution of 2-Methyl-6-phenyl-5-[4-({4-[5-(1,3-thiazol-2-yl)-1H-1,2,4-triazol-3-yl]piperidin-1-yl}methyl)phenyl][1,2,4]-triazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine in methanol an adequate amount of hydrochloric acid solution (5.84N in methanol). After stirring for 1 h the hydrochloride can be filtered and dried.
