60 μL (0.8 mmol) trifluoroacetic acid are added to a solution of 22 mg (0.04 mmol) tert-butyl 4-[(2-{4-[5-(4-chloro-phenyl)-pyridin-2-ylethynyl]-phenoxy}-ethyl)-methyl-amino]-piperidin-1-carboxylate in 5 mL DCM and the reaction mixture is stirred for 24 h at RT. The mixture is evaporated down i. vac. and the residue is stirred with diethyl ether. The precipitate is suction filtered, washed with diethyl ether and dried.
