A reaction mixture of 1.22 g (4.24 mmol) 1-[2-(4-trimethylsilanylethynyl-phenoxy)-ethyl]-pyrrolidine, 1.47 g (4.67 mmol) TBAF and 25 mL THF is stirred for 3 h at RT. Then the reaction mixture is evaporated down and the residue is combined with 20 mL saturated NaCl solution and 50 mL EtOAc. The organic phase is dried over Na2SO4. The purification is carried out by column chromatography on silica gel (EtOAc/MeOH/NH3 90:10:1).
