Reaction Steps
Compound 17-C (0.221 g, 0.7 mmol) was dissolved in 4N HCl in dioxane (7 mL) and the reaction mixture was stirred for 2 h at room temperature. The solvent was evaporated in vacuo to give compound 17-D as a light yellow solid; MS m/z (M+H+) 216.
