2-Fluoro-3-hydroxy-4-methoxybenzoic acid methyl ester was coupled to 2-m-tolylethanol, the intermediate hydrolyzed, coupled to 1-amino-cycloheptanecarboxylic acid methyl ester hydrochloride and the obtained ester hydrolyzed in analogy to steps 1 to 4 of example 1 to yield the title compound.
