5-(5-Ethyl-2-methyl-6-oxo-1,6-dihydropyridin-3-yl)thiophene-2-sulfonyl chloride is reacted with (1-pyridin-2-yl)ethylamine as described in Step 5, Example 24 to give the title compound as a solid (40% yield). LC/MS: RT 2.40 min; m/e 404 (M+H); 1H NMR (δ, ppm): 11.82 (1H, br s), 8.81 (1H, d), 8.60 (1H, d), 8.06 (1H); 7.66 (3H, m); 7.23 (1H, s), 7.04 (1H, d), 4.64 (1H, m), 2.38 (2H, q), 2.30 (3H, s), 1.37 (3H, d), 1.10 (3H, t).
