5-(5-Ethyl-2-methyl-6-oxo-1,6-dihydropyridin-3-yl)thiophene-2-sulfonyl chloride is reacted with 2-phenoxy-ethylamine as described in Step 5, Example 24 to give the title compound as a yellow-orange solid (78% yield). LC/MS: RT 3.00 min; m/e 419 (M+H); 1H NMR (δ, ppm): 11.82 (1H, s), 8.18 (1H, m), 7.58 (1H, dd), 7.23-7.29 (3H, m), 7.15 (1H, dd), 6.86-6.94 (3H, m), 3.99 (2H, t), 3.28 (2H, t), 2.40 (2H, q), 2.29 (3H, s), 1.09 (3H, t).
