To a solution of 3-{2-[2-((R)-1-hydroxyethyl)benzoimidazol-1-yl]-9-methyl-6-morpholin-4-yl-9H-purin-8-ylmethyl}azetidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (156 mg, 0.28 mmol) in DCM (5 mL) was added TFA (2 mL) and the resulting mixture stirred at r.t. for 45 min. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo and the resulting residue loaded onto an Isolute® SCX-2 cartridge which was washed with MeOH and the product eluted with 2M NH3/MeOH affording the title compound (114 mg, 90%). LCMS (method A): RT 1.80 min [M+H]+ 449.4
