To a solution of tert-butyl 2-(3-cyano-4-(4-(phenethylcarbamoyl)phenoxy)phenyl)acetate 0.120 g) in 2 ml of dichloromethane was added 2 ml of TFA and the reaction was stirred at ambient temperature. After 1 hour the reaction was concentrated and dried under vacuum to give 2-(3-cyano-4-(4-(phenethylcarbamoyl)phenoxy)phenyl)acetic acid (0.100 g). MS−355.3 [M−CO2H].
