The title compound was prepared from 2-chloro-4-[3-(2,2,2-trifluoro-ethoxy)-4-trifluoromethyl-phenyl]-6-trifluoromethyl-pyrimidine (example A.39) (0.85 g, 2.0 mmol) and commercially available 4-bromo-imidazole (0.44 g, 3.0 mmol) according to the general procedure IVa. Obtained as a light yellow solid (0.83 g, 78%). MS (ISP) 535.0 [(M+H)+]; mp 159° C.
