Reaction Steps
3-(2-(3,5-Dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)propanoyl)dihydro-2H-pyran-4 (3H)-one was synthesised from 2-(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)propanoyl chloride (0.5 g, 2.97 mmol) and tetrahydro-4H-pyran-4-one (0.549 mL, 5.95 mmol) by the general procedure for the preparation of diketones.
