Phosphoric Acid → Tricalcium Phosphate
Reaction equation
[OH:1][P:2]([OH:5])([OH:4])=[O:3].[O-2].[Ca+2:7]>>[P:2]([O-:5])([O-:4])([O-:3])=[O:1].[Ca+2:7].[P:2]([O-:5])([O-:4])([O-:3])=[O:1].[Ca+2:7].[Ca+2:7].[P:2]Participants

Procedure
Typically, the dispensing means dispenses H3PO4, CaO and CMS in the proportions required to produce CMS-enriched calcium phosphate having a total phosphorus content of about 10-18% (m/m), a total calcium content of about 8,5-32,4% (m/m) and a Ca:P ratio of between about 1,8-1,0 and 0,85-1,0.
