To a solution of 4-{1-[2-(2-ethylbenzoimidazol-1-yl)-9-methyl-6-morpholin-4-yl-9H-purin-8-yl]-1-hydroxyethyl}piperidine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester (104 mg, 0.18 mmol) in DCM (1 mL) was added TFA (1 mL) and the resulting mixture stirred for 1 h. The reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo and azeotroped with DCM affording 1-[2-(2-Ethylbenzoimidazol-1-yl)-9-methyl-6-morpholin-4-yl-9H-purin-8-yl]-1-piperidin-4-ylethanol. LCMS (method A): RT 1.88 min, [M+H]+ 491.2
