Procedure
To a solution of N-(1-{[4-chloro-2-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]methyl}-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)-3-methyl-4-pyridinecarboxamide (for a preparation see Example 85)(30 mg, 0.076 mmol) in methanol (1 ml) was added 4.0 M hydrochloride in 1,4-dioxane (0.15 ml, 0.60 mmol). The solvent was removed under a stream of nitrogen and dried in a vacuum oven at 40° C. for 30 min to give the title compound (32 mg); LCMS: (System 4) MH+=395, tRET=2.34 min.
