Procedure
The title compound was prepared in a manner analogous to Example 28 except the starting indole is 5,7-diBOC-2,10-dichloro-6-hydroxyindolo[2,3-b]carbazole and the reagent is (S)-tert-butyl 3-hydroxypyrrolidine-1-carboxylate. 1H-NMR (400 MHz, CDCl3) δ ppm 9.27 (br s, 2 H), 8.35 (s, 1 H), 8.07 (s, 2 H), 7.38-7.30 (m, 4 H), 5.09 (t, J=4.0 Hz, 1 H), 3.55-3.46 (m, 2 H), 3.29 (d, J=12.0 Hz, 1 H), 3.15 (td, J=10.0, 4.8 Hz, 1 H), 2.83 (dd, J=11.6, 3.6 Hz, 1 H), 2.38-2.28 (m, 1 H), 2.21-2.10 (m, 1 H); MS (ESI) m/z 408.2 (M−H)−; MS (ESI) m/z 410.1 (M+H)+
