Procedure

To a solution containing 64 (270 mg, 0.53 mmol) in DCM (3 mL) was added TFA (2 mL) at 0° C. After 90 min, the reaction mixture was concentrated in vacuo. The residue was dissolved in EtOAc and the resultant organic solution was washed successively with saturated aqueous NaHCO3 and brine, dried over anhydrous Na2SO4, filtered, and concentrated to afford 150 mg (69%) of 65 which was used without further purification. Mass spectrum, m/z [409.2] (M+H)+.
