Procedure
NaOH (3N, 1.47 ml) was added to a solution of 5-(2-phenyl-imidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidin-7-ylcarbamoyl)-3H-[1,2,3]triazole-4-carboxylic acid methyl ester (example 26, 800 mg, 2.2 mmol) in methanol/THF=1:1 (16 ml), and the mixture was stirred for 6 h at RT. The mixture was acidified (pH=3) with HCl (2N), the suspension was stirred for 15 min, and filtered. The precipitated title compound (590 mg, 77%) was dried under vacuum, and used in the next step without further purification.
