A mixture of (4-{4-[5-(4′-methoxy-biphenyl-3-yl)-pyrazolo[1,5-c]pyrimidin-7-ylamino]-phenylcarbamoyl}-benzyl)-carbamic acid tertbutyl ester (0.124 g) and trifluoroacetic acid (TFA)(1.5 ml) in dichloromethane (7 ml) is stirred 3 h at ambient temperature. The reaction mixture is evaporated, coevaporated with toluene and dried at high vacuum. Crystals (0.136 g) are obtained in quantitative yield and a melting temperature at 235-240° C.
