Procedure

To a solution of compound 15-2 (32 mg, 0.054 mmol) in 2 mL CH2Cl2 was added hexamethyldisilizane (0.3 mL), followed by bromo trimethylsilane (71 μL, 0.54 mmol). The reaction was allowed to stir for 18 h at ambient temperature. The organic solvent was removed in vacuo, followed by the addition of H2O (2 mL). The crude product was purified by prepatory HPLC using a 30-80% CH3CN with 0.05% trifluoroacetic acid gradient over 20 min. The pure fractions were combined and lyophilized to give the title compound 15-3. 1H NMR 7.42 (1H, t), 7.50-7.56 (4H, m), 7.65-7.94 (10H, m); LC-MS: m/e 511(M+H)+.
