Obtained from Intermediate 31 (4.0 g, 14.4 mmol) by the procedure described in Intermediate 9. {6-[2,2-Difluoro-2-(3-methylphenyl)ethoxy]hexyl}amine was obtained (1.93 g, 50%) as oil.
